It was raining but the Saskatoon Baseball League did a outstanding job getting the field ready and we got both games in. We lost a tight one to the Saskatoon Smoking Guns, we played 3 extra innings and lost 3-2. The umps did cost us 2 runs so this game shouldn’t have gone into extra innings and we would have won 4-2. We beat the Blue Jays 4-3, which put us in the B semi final. The Calgary White Sox played the 10pm game and supplied us with plenty of entertainment. There catch toe pitched on one pop fly and was gracious enough to add a face plant later on in the game. They lost so we played them in the semis and beat them 3-0. We were hoping to play the Saskatoon Stallions in the final but they suck and lost. St. Albert asked to split the money and we agreed and went home. ———– Dakota Upton, Ted Eisthen and Dan Lougen pitch outstanding games. Lars Glemser won one game himself and a few other Longhorns have unresolved issues to deal with. It was a great weekend with no one breaking curfew.
