Game 1 – We won a tight one 3-2 in 9 innings. No team scored a run until the 6th inning. Teddy pitched a gem and our defence was outstanding. Jade Alberts hit a SAC Fly in the 6th and we thought that would be enough, but the Wolfpack found a way to tie it up. They took a lead in the 7th, but we were able to answer back. We finally pulled out a the win when Lars hit a exciting bases loaded fielders choice. Elliot had a huge game going 5-5 with a pulled hammy. Hiro, making his catching debut, made a great catch sliding up against the fence. ————— Game 2 – The old Longhorn defence showed up and we made 5 errors in the first 2 innings (Joyce had 3 of them. I guess he wanted to give the Diamondbacks something to talk about in the stands. We played solid defence after that and pulled out 5-3 win. It was a great effort seeing we only had 10 guys. ———— The Diamondback and Twins were outstanding in the stands. The boot had a busy day. The only thing was missing was Pierre behind the plate.
