Out of the 14 innings we played today, we were only productive in 3 of them. We scored 7 runs in the first 3 innings and scored 3 over the next 11. Our bats were terrible and the only thing to talk about are comical. Somehow Brendan Engdahl fouled a ball off his face, he did have 2 RBI’s breaking out of his batting slump. Jade Alberts fielded balls with his boot instead of his glove. I did save the best for last. The Legend of Gabe continues to grow and I will try to explain this the best I can. On a can of corn fly ball, Gabe toe picked, tried to get up and toe picked again, then did a flip landing on his back. Just close your eyes and try to picture that. He had a huge grass stain on this back.
